    Naming Hammocks?

Im sure somebody has already posted something like this and if so, please go easy on me. If not, here it goes! I know ol' Shug, Shug, Shugity, Shug, Shug has named his DIY hammock "Green bean", but how many of y'all have named your hammock or any other gear for that matter?

I'm making one from the 1.6 HyperD from RSBTR in Hunter Green. Since it will have green whoopies, I've decided to name her. . . "Phlem".
Kind of rolls off the tongue rather nicely, doesn't it?
I've gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, make sure I stay here.

When I see lovers' names carved into a tree, I don't think it's cute. I think it's strange how so many people take knives on a date.

I recently got a 1.4 PolyD from Dutch that is purple - his name is now Barney! Barney is going to be a big part of my Ultralight Long Trail hiking experience this year. Barney is a long distance hiker.

My hammock's name comes from a couple of places. First, its a 12' x 6' DIY made of Marpat camp based roughly on the BIAS Weight Weenie. Second, I was in the Army for ten years, and we always talked about watching out for this this:

    The kids name them usually.

Large apple green tablcloth - Swamp Thing
Large burgundy tablcloth - the Big Kahuna
Od green Hyper D 12' - Green Goblin
Black & Grey Argon 12' - the Dark Knight

    The list goes on.

They request them for use by name when calling dibs at camp.
