    pics from an interesting hang this weekend.

    I was hanging off the tree but still submerged a bit. I was swimming from the trees but floating in the water at the same time..very cool!

    was your hammock actually IN the water? If you had a waterproof fabric this would be a weet way to stay cool in the heat of summer? Assuming the water is colder than the air.

    could be a hazard if the system fails, you become tangled underwater though.


    very cool.

    I think it would take pressur off the suspension as water makes u lighter.

    Yeah my hammock was about 6-8 inches under at the lowest spot. It was a pain to get in. I had to go underwater and dolphin kick into it. There wasn't really a way I could figure out to enter from the land.

    TOO COOL, I GOTS TO TRY THAT! I know the perfect place in RRG,,,, sadly it never occurred to me to do that even tho the trees & river came to mind just as soon as I saw your set up.
