Hang a bar from the ceiling and hang the hammock from the bar. Same principles as a turtle dog stand without the tripods.
You would have to DIY a 7' hammock but that is easy enough.

Contact Mama and Papa Smurf at dream-hammock.com. They made a kid sized hammock for the Fifth Annual Florida Hang's raffle last year. I'm sure they could make you one as well.

Thanks for the tips. I'll give them a look.

See if Papa Smurf can make it something like this one. http://www.hayneedle.com/product/la-...S4bhoCuVjw_wcB It seems to be about the length you are looking for though your suspension points seem to be the biggest concern if you do not want to put holes in the wall. If you are in an apartment I would not worry about holes, as a very small tub of joint compound and a little touch up paint will fix it right up when you are ready to move on.

My 3'8" toddler hangs comfortably in a 7' diy hammock just fine. Ridgelines don't really matter since she's so small, she lays flat anywhere inside there.
