National Hardware Brand welded steel rings are SWL rated to 300#. @ 1.5" dia. Highest of the hardware store rings I have seen. Lowes 1.5" dia are only rated for 200# if I remember right. You gotta watch those rings. The quality is widely variable from brand to brand.
