My son and I are going tomorrow. We'll bring some soda's for folks. I don't have a cooler that will keep anything good from Thursday to Sat night. We are going to be doing pb&j and pop tarts to survive the weekend.

Walked into this hang by accident...my last visit here on the forums was Feb 3 2014 according to the forum......Met Neo and crew on Saturday afternoon.....you meet the nicest folks at Hammock Hangs......had a great time, it sure made my evening.....it was good to shake the wrinkles out of the gear for a night.....
sorry I had to leave early y'all. My back was really hurting when we left. I think my days in a hammock are over.
Lee, I hope when your back is healed, you will be able to enjoy the hammock again. Sorry to have missed you. Take care of your back now so it can be relied on next year.

This appears to be the most recent hang in the TN area, so I thought I would post here to see if anyone is going on a hang anytime soon in the SE TN area? I recently moved to Athens, TN. Even though I have bought a hammock, tarp, UQ, and a bugnet, I have yet to use them largely due to not knowing how to get the best hang. If anyone is willing to go out in the SE TN area, even if its for a one night trip soon let me know.
