Shock cord deals?

Where can i find a good deal on shock cord? I went to joanne, walmart, ragshoppe, and sports authority yesterday and between all of them i could only find 1/8th inch white shock cord priced at 1.25 per foot, and i want black. 1.25 per foot seems crazy because i cannot fathom spending 30+ dollars on a 25 foot piece of string that is not structural or made of anything special. I honestly assumed a 25 foot section would cost around 6$. Does anyone know any stores that might carry is for a reasonable price?

You can get black 1/8" shock cord for $4.25 for 25' at rip stop by the roll. I have had really good experience with that vendor. But you can also check DIY gear supply among many other on line vendors.

I'm sure 25' is around $4.50 from Dutch or ripstopbytheroll, there are plenty other vendors too!

REI has it but it's pricey. Some Army Surplus stores like Harry's or Jax used to. Supplycaptain.com used to be a good online source and of course there are our cottage vendors, many of them carry it.

ordered shock cord from dutch, also have ordered some on amazon w free delivery 50 ft cost me around $9.00 picked up black and foliage green
