Like others I did a DIY organizer and the pockets were make custom sized to fit what I wanted to go in them. Think Nook, Samsung phone, etc, etc. Mine is made out of left over scrapes of nylon with 4 small loops on top so I can attach to which ever hammock I am planning on using it on. I wanted the ability to easily move it from hammock to hammock. Also with some fairly heavy items in it, I wanted it to be a bit more durable than mesh fabric would be with more than two connection points to the ridgeline.

What ridgeline organizer do you use?

When I make a RL organizer I make it double sided. So the fabric in essence folds over the ridgeline. However I take the large square/rectangle and cut mesh to fit the ends. Then I Hem around the whole organizer trapping the mesh in the fabric. Usually the mesh is about 5.5 " high and as wide as ... Once it's hemmed I sew the pockets. Start at the hem and go to the middle of the organizer (as high as the mesh). I usually make them so I can put my e-reader in one sideways, one for keys phone etc.
Once that is done i sew the bottom of the organizer together hoping they line up. ( don't do this part yet if your RL isn't removable. Read on and do it last - see directions) It gives you a middle area to stuff a bottle or something.
Myself, I sew a line 1/2 " along the top and slide my ridgeline through it. All my hammocks are made so it's easy to do this. If your RL doesn't come off don't panic. Simply take your hammock over to your sewing machine and have the ridgeline pulled out and wrap the RLO around it. If your paranoid about sewing into the RL pin the organizer to the RL is at the top fold and can't move. Then sew a line on the other side. This allows you to slide your organizer everywhere and it won't sag or accordion together. Then sew the bottom
    Of the organizer together.

I attach a long-ish dogbone to the ridgeline and then larkshead a plastic grocery bag to it. The bag hangs just off the outside of the hammock. It's about as far from fancy as you can get but it weighs nothing and can fit lots of stuff.

Does the noise ever bother you? I think that would drive me nuts!

haha...hasn't bothered me yet. Actually, the only time that I notice any noise from it is when I'm digging around in it. But If I'm not using it then it's silent. Maybe it would make more noise if it didn't have any weight in it and was blowing around?

    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...s-of-pictures!

I made one out of some netting similar to this. I made mine with three pockets on one side and two larger pockets on the other. I sewed a channel on top and sewed the bottom to make a large pocket in the middle. I did a brief test and it did not sag with the contents I think I would usually have with me. I made one of the pockets on the three side smaller to fit my glasses. Dummy me forgot to take any pics before I packed the hammock.

Here are better pics of mine. The line is doubled and has knots spaced so the hooks slide a little but not all to the center

No, its just the no-seeum mesh folded over. I was just trying to give it a clean look.
