I just got it back from HG today. I sent it out to them to fix a very small tear next to one of the snap closures. Adam added a stitch the length of the snaps and told me that mitigates the snaps from tearing out or any problems down there. They looked over the whole quilt and it's in perfect/like new condition. No problems, no smells, nothing. Practically a brand new quilt now. It was bought in May 2014.

That's not the way I read that. Potential snap issue fixed with additional sewing around the snap.

Adam reinforced that snap by sewing on a small piece of grosgrain. Then added a stitch down the length of the snaps to reinforce the rest of them. Snaps are still there. Not a sewn footbox

Thank you for clearing that up for me- I just took it that he 'sewed up' the footbox,thereby eliminating the snap pulling out from the light material- which I understand can be a problem if you tend to be a restless sleeper. Glad it was fixable.
