Might as well face it....I'm addicted to down

When I started hammocking I scoffed at expensive underquilts and scoffed even louder at top quilts. I had a pad and a sleeping bag and there was no reason to spend the big money on small packages. Well I broke down and bought a HG Incubator 20 because my pad was uncomfortable in my hammock. I think I ended up ordering a Burrow 20 before I even had 1 night in the UQ. Well those are wintery items and well lets face it....spring is upon us. So now I plan to use my 20 Incubator (loosely slung) and my 40deg Montbell Hugger. But of course now that I am used to all the awesomeness of HG quilts I want to ditch the Montbell (which is very gently used...hint) and pick up a 40deg Incubator. Still planning to use the 20 Incubator slung loose, but really who am I kidding....Ill end up with a warm weather UQ from HG before the cold weather rolls back around. Well they say that admitting you have a problem is the first step.......

Well, it started with a down quilt, then an under quilt, then, 3 jackets, pants, booties etc. All very packable, warm..........where will it all end?
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

First it was Hammocks, then Dutch bling and now down. Just ordered a 0 degree UQ for this winter. Not even done with summer yet!!! I'm seeking help next weekend. Going to the mountain top for answers with out an UQ. Just a package of Double Stuffed Oreo's to drown my sorrows in when we get there. That is if the boy leaves me any.

I do love the downy goodness! Up until just a few years ago, I always looked at down as "weak" and overkill...something you can't get wet. But then I thought,
when do I ever get my gear soaked? NEVER. Then I tried it and LOVED it. So, DOWN we go
