    DIY KAQ Instructions.

I'm getting ready to make A diy KAQ. When I'm looking at the pattern and the instructions state that the head of the KAQ is wider than the foot. So My question is when the measurement states 15" (head) that would then be a total 30" wide. The the Foot states 12" and this would be a total of 24" wide.

    Am I interperting this correctly????

The measurements are to the centerline, so you are correct.

I took that in account... But the diagram could be perceived that one half is 15” from center and the other half is 12”, on each end.

    Thanks for clearing that up.

I start measuring and cutting tonight.

Maybe... but that is incorrect. It is asymmetrical, with axial balance.

It's just a different apportionment of the total width at each end. They both add up to 30" of width per side.

    Cut, and Good Luck!
