Glad all are well and everyone had a good time. Well most of the time.
Mental note: Don't go paddling with the Jersey Crowd.

I knew you'd be around to rub it in.

Actually, no capsizing occurred. This is just a method to keep attendance down for future events.

A couple of swimmers were wearing cotton. I imagine they'll be rethinking that next time they go winter paddling. I know I'm going to be doing some serious reassessment of my winter paddling setup. While I did have some dry clothes, I didn't have enough to recover from the second baptism. I also realize that a dry bag doesn't mean squat if it's not secured in the canoe somehow. What's the point of a dry bag if it floats downstream and is lost forever?

Wow! What a trip report! It reminds me a bit- in the battles against hypothermia at least- of the Mt. Rogers winter hang a few years back.

Swimmers wearing cotton, now there is an education! SS, what were you wearing? (were wearing. Not trying to be flirty by asking "what ARE you wearing" LOL!)

I was not wearing any cotton. I learned those lessons long ago.
