Not really an "angle" but some people sew up the doubled ends into channels, then sew the sides, leaving 30-35" of a gap close to where one channel is...essentially making a diagonal pad opening... Depending on the hammock size though, some people prefer to put the gap closer to the middle, or locate them where the pad is supposed to lay, but it is not a good idea to sew the pad sleeve shape through both fabrics, mainly for reasons of ripping out where the stitches are.... it's best to only have the layers sewn together at the perimeter with a 30-35" gap on one or two sides.... some people sew up the long side, and make a channel on one layer, and leave the other layer's end open to insert pad....but this might be more difficult to achieve when you have the ends gathered into the suspension system, hence having the gap on one or two sides.
Interesting. Thank you
