That's gorgeous! I love the attention to detail in how you constructed the bag. What method did you use for gathering the ends and attaching the ridgeline?
Thanks! Looks like I will have to make another one. I may try and post some pics of the basic concept later on.
Thank you kindly. I used a larkshead for the suspensions continuous loop and the non-adjustable portion of the ridgeline. They overlapped each other and the continuous loop then runs through the center of the gathered end channel which is cinched down using a zip tie. For the adjustable end of the ridgeline I used a zingit soft shackle and looped that through the larksheaded suspension.
Great rig. I bet she loved it.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
I've got the REB waiting for a winter hammock build, really is a nice color. Agree the website pics don't do it justice. Well done!
Thank you! She did indeed.
Thanks! It is a cool color. Is your winter hammock going to have an overcover? What color combination? Based on the website color I was thinking it would look good as an overcover with a brown hammock. Now I am kinda dig'n it with grey.
For the winter rig I'm going to add some color of 0.7oz membrane 10 as top layer... Grey was my second choice since my winter TQ is red, but red & light blue is a terrific combo. Been playing with M10 on top of various PolyD and HyperD weighs and I'm a big fan of it so far. Nothing constructed or pic worthy yet though.
Sounds cool. It's a shame the REB doesn't come in the membrane 10. That would be sweet. The charcoal grey would look pretty dope with red though. I'm also liking that olive yellow. I'm think'n of making a quilt with that and black or grey.
