    Hanging hammock Lights anyone???

Im just curious if anyone out there has had experience with hanging those light strands from their ridgelines? Im thinking of having some fun with lighting up the area at night time and have seen those battery powered light strands that I think are made by ENO. if you don't use those lights but use something else, what is it?

Yes my wife uses a set of the ENO lights when she sets up her gear.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

I have a set almost identical to those Dutch sells and love 'em. I use them on short excursions or when my son is hiking with me. Here's a picture (albeit not very good) from a recent outing. We had to go to ground, but the effect is the same. Because there so many bulbs with relatively low output each, they cast a really even and filling light, as opposed to the shadowy and often harsh throw of a lantern or other single-source light.

Bought a set of LED Christmas lights with different blink patterns and a self turn off after 6 hours. Nice for finding your hammock at group hangs.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I have a set of the Eno lights. Always a hit when I go camping with folks. I use/take em 50% of the time. They can be kinda a hassle to string up/wrap around my ridge line. I use/love my Black Diamond Orbit lantern 100% of the time.

Awesome pic. How long do your batteries typically last for?

Not the same, but I just got back from my first trip with this guy and was really impressed for the price! And pretty easy to control how much light it throws by sliding it in our out.
