Depending when the last time 2001tj checked his post count, this could be due to the Tapatalk update last year. I remember that when that occurred many people noticed a post count drop. I think it was determined to be due to the new version of Tapatalk recounting post totals and removing counts of posts from the Introduce Yourself and For Sale sections. I could be totally off-base, though.
I think it was somewhere in this thread.
Found the right post explaining it: here

Mods are doing it for free, instead of getting angry let's be happy they are doing it at all.
I am a member on one forum that requires 50 post count AND 6 months of membership in good standing before you can post for sale or even buy from the for sale section. Its totally closed from viewing till both the post count and 6 month timeline are achieved. So quit your whining...i'm just kidding I think he may just be confused its all good we will forgive you after you offer the required apology to the mods and provide the appropriate burnt offering, and your first born child.

Been on this forum for a little while now not sure if I'll ever get to 50 posts guess I don't have much to add so I choose not to post (till this time) rules are rules. Just glad we have ppl out there willing to devote time to making sure we are following them
Aren't deleted posts actually counted in your post count? I seem to recall seeing my posts deleted but my post count did not decrement. Or is it a separate option to delete the post count as well as the offending post?
