Ok...guess I'll get something to string up the tarp with. I've watched a few videos of Dutch's items and they appear to be simple and effective, so perhaps I'll go that route.

+1 On the Superfly, But also love my Mamajamba from Brandon as well.
If your first tarp is a Superfly, you might never have a second tarp - it is that good!

Are you set on hex-shaped?
Hi Jack. Yes, I'm set on a hex-shaped fly. The diamond I was using before just wasn't getting it done, although I realize that's personal preference and diamonds do have their place among us hangers. I ordered my Superfly yesterday and, with any luck, will get it soon so I can practice with it before taking it up to Michigan next month.
