New to Forum and Hammock Camping

just wanted to say hi and thank you guys for a great forum..
this huge repository of 1st hand information has already saved me days of research, untold amounts of money and all those quiet " like a snake" mistakes that would have led to many a miserable night in the woods...
can't wait for delivery of my "kit" so i can give the Hammock thing a go

Cmon guys, now he doesn't have to spend it on stupid stuff. I tell my wife all the time that the value I am receiving for my dollars is so incredibly amplified by the pragmattic nature of the information I receive as part of this forum. Thus the savings.

You're right, she doesn't believe it at all. She calls me the world's best rationalizer. Somebody's gotta do it, might as well be me.

re: $ saved....i was thinking about all those items that have been ( most of the time ) tactfully recommended that i don't buy....
with the advent of the 4 dollar coffee and the 4 thousand dollar bike
i realize a 400 dollar hammock is just the tip......anyway i meant to introduce myself and forgot to add my name (one can only imagine what i'll leave behind
    my first night out hanging)
