Hello HF,
I’m looking at getting my first hammock and have been looking at the ENO Double Nest and the WBBB 1.7. I leaning more to the Blackbird buy I have a concern that at 6.2 and 275# is that it’s wide enough. Thanks for the help.

I cant speak about the ENO either but I am 6' 215 and I have more then enough room and feel plenty secure in the 1.7 dbl. It does feel a bit sketchy at first and im not gonna lie the first time I layed down I was counting the seconds that I was going to be on my a$$ but after a couple of lay's and a few nights sleep I swear that my WBBB is way more comfortable then my bed which is a king size
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

The ENO DN, which I just got, will hold you just fine. I know this for a fact, I am 6'1" and @300, you will be fine in it. WBB comes very highly recommended and should give you no problems from what I have seen and read.

my brother uses a eno double. hes 257# 6'4" . it seems to be very good to him ,as his snoring keeps me up on trips . the last trip he was so loud the coyotes where howling.haha . but seriously when i got into hanging i went cheap at first then dove in .if it was me .. i would go with the eno .see if you like hammocks.somekind of tarp and pad ..hang that tweek it exp with it have fun with . if you like it get the wbbb and keep both .although i dont own either hammock i have slept in the eno its pretty nice .youll really want to keep it around. dont really need to say anything about the wb thats a no brainer.
but thats just me.. HYOH
Just got my blackbird today. Retirement gift to myself. I'm 6'2" and 220 #. Fits well, and feels totally secure. Am learning how to use my Thermorests. Have two of them and will try both together this weekend, on a two night hang. EVERYTHING I have learned in the past six months of studying about hammocks tells me this is the best available. Love not groundpounding anymore. "Tumbleweed" in central WI.
i know of at least a few happy BB customers in the 350+ range.
I ordered the WB BlackBird today. Now I can look for a tarp .
Its hard to go wrong with a BB. Happy hanging!
