New Hammock camper From Cherryville NC

Have stayed two nights now in hammock under a tarp and love it.
I am a long time tent camper and backpacker. Wanted a hammock for some time know.
I am glad I got around to it.
Will be heading to linville Gorge nc this weekend for a few more nights.
Great info on the forum to learn from.

Small world, I was raised in Cherryville NC......moved to Va in 1976 I went to the old Cherryville High School, Carolina Freight was still in Business when I left....anyway welcome to Hammock Forums

Welcome from Knightdale NC. If you get a chance there's a hang outside of Raleigh NC at Falls Lake May 27th-31st. It's called the Smoke Butt hang. Lot's of southern pulled pork and good company. Come down and hang with us if you get a chance. We'll have hangers from NC, SC, VA, PA, AL, FL, GA maybe even TN. Good chance to meet some of the locals LOL. Check it out on the forums.
