    Kelty Noah 16 x 16 Tarp

Hey I just purchased one of these to take hiking. The normal hammock tarp is great for one person (or maybe two). Wanted something that I can get a few people under to hang out during heavy rain. What you think?
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

I have a 12 x 12 and it works well, I can fit a bunch of people, tables and such under it. Problem with packing it into an area is the tarp does not pack small. Other than that the Kelty Noah tarp is a great general purpose tarp that I use quite often. I have been looking at the 16 x 16 but thinking it may be too much tarp for my need.

I think that its gonna take up a huge amount of space in your pack. But it should be more than large enough for a few people to hang out under

Thanks I was going to get the 12x12, but figured I might need alittle bit bigger tarp.

The tarp is awesome for multiples!

I just picked one up as well. Wanted it for a group shelter for group hangs as well as for car camping with the kids. Still haven't had a chance to pitch it. Read lots of great reviews.
