Welcome to HF Trugracie. I'm afraid the buttons will pull out, probably tearing the ccf pad w/ much pulling. But if you try it, please let us know how it holds up.
Like MacEntire mentioned, the likelihood of a sliding ccf pad depends on on the material the ccf pad is made of & possibly somewhat on the fabric the hammock is made of, but the pad material is defiantly a factor.
Some ccf pads have a smooth surface that slides freely. Other pads are more rubbery in feel & are near impossible to shift with out getting out of the hammock so you are removing your weight from the pad.

If you had a sewing machine & some appropriate fabric from the Wal-mart $1 bin, you could make a "double hammock" for little cost & slide the ccf pad between the layers.
