    Howdy From Wilkes Co.

    Greetings,

I have been camping a decent amount over my life. Started hanging when I did a week on the AT last spring and haven't looked back. Really enjoy the DIY side of things and I'm looking forward to reading through everyone's ideas. I've got some "Dutch Bling" in the mail that will hopefully give me a little upgrade to my current ENO system. Hope to see some of yall out on a trail!

Welcome to the forums SouthernHanger. Seeing you've got some Dutch gear ordered I can see you are addicted already - that stuff is like crack.
See you out on the NC trails.

    Thanks fellas,

I agree about the addicting part. After making an SPE and a pair of bug net snake skins, I realize I can sew well enough to make things stick together. I have the supplies for an UQ and hammock on the way. If it turns out, I may see if I can add on bug netting top to the hammock. If nothing else, DIY gear make a great excuse to get outside and test em out.
