I wanted to relay this demonstration of AWESOME (yes I said awesome) customer service. I attended the Spring MAHHA 2 weeks ago. A good time was had by all. I finally talked my scout troop into getting out to camp at PGFSP and hike on the AT the following weekend (I hung in the exact same trees two weekends in a row). During a slow period waiting for the boys to pack up I went around the other group camp sites to check them out for future outings and while I was checking one of the sites I saw a black bag in the bushes. It was a little damp, but otherwise looked fine. I recognized the Dream Hammock tag immediately. I threw it in the car and took it home to investigate. I opened it up to find what looked like a custom Freebird (minus the straps). I hung it up in a tree to air/dry out and posted a notice in the MAHHA trip report to see if anyone was missing something to describe it. No response after a day. So then it dawned on me that Randy keeps really good records of his babies and he could probably tell me the owner (especially since it was a unique color combination). He responded to my PM within hours with a photo of the missing hammock and the current owner.
In addition, Randy offered to pay the shipping costs to get the hammock back to it's owner. WOW
