CS goes to Barker Valley

3 day trip with scouts. hiked down in the night. Then set up camp and crashed for a few days. Really fun.



whats funny is the whole time i kept saying that we would find clean water, but the SM decided that we should send a group up the trail to go get water. 3 people went up, after 8 hours they came down bearing 7 gallons of water. We already had some from the source that we found when they got back. They were a little bit less then happy

First real night in my WBBB. It was great and the 2 other older scouts now both want one after napping in it when i was gone doing my dutys as SPL (AKA finding water)

Overall a great trip!

Running out of water sucks! Been there, done that, had a very dry drive home. Glad you had fun on your trip, know you have been looking forward to it.

Yes I have. It was my last camp out as SPL and i think it all went well even tough we did have a little problem
