Another thought for the mod's.

I was thinking that might be nice to have a list of abreviations for different camping and hiking places. People use them alot and I think that for alot of them the abreviations are regionally known, but not nationally and certainly not internationally known. I read trip reports and sometimes I wonder what part of the country that they are happening in. It would be nice to have something in with the glossary and acronyms section,under the Helpful Hammock Articles button, that we could referance. Here is an example of what the page might look like;

Abreviation-Name-Location
BWCA-Boundary Waters Canoe Area-Northeastern MN along the Canadian border

This isn't something that I would expect any one Mod to take on but I'd bet that could be slowly user devevoped over time as people do their trip reports. Thanks Mods and keep up the good work?

That kind of list is no problem to start and build. Post as many as you can think of in this thread, and I will compile them to a new linked page.
