Its getting tender...my last hike with my dad, 15 years ago, with my son, and we stood beside Nevada Falls looking towards the Yosemite Valley--which we'd done a number of times since I was my son's age--and my dad, then 78, said, "I guess this is the last time I'll see this view." We still talk in the high timber too, Shug.
