Just wanted to post some pics of my first real hang with my full setup. Did a 3 day, 2 night ride through Big Sur about two weeks ago. Got my streamliner hammock from SLD, got kevlar (glad I got the long straps for those redwoods- you east coast boys are always cracking jokes "unless you're hanging on a redwood" but this was my reality day one!) and spliced my own diy suspension with material from Dutch, and got a great deal on a Shangri-La from forum member Hobbit. Really happy with the setup, and how everything performed. Got some high winds on the second night, and the Shangri-La worked really well in storm mode on the foot end. What more can I say? "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!"
