    quest outfitters ;)

ordered some new poles for the dutch double hammock setup the same time I ordered the dutch stuff and both came in the same day !

very happy about that and being as fast as Dutch is saying something

will be ordering a few more things from them soon was my first time so was not sure how it would go but very happy

also the shipping on the check out turned out to be a touch more than the actual and they refunded the difference !!!! that IMHO is awesome service and above and beyond what most would do and keep the extra very happy new customer

cant wait to get out and try the dutch double hang setup with the kids

I've always been very happy with service from Quest Outfitters. They are very knowledgeable of their stock when talking with them on the phone or emails, too.

I got the .742 ends but we car camp so not hiking
    http://www.questoutfitters.com/tent_...m#TENT%20POLES
so got 2 of the .742 17 inch one with insert one without so they would go together and the 2 end caps compression style
I used the compression tips rather than shock cording it ? guess I could have corded it to
the .625 that Dutch said did not have the cord ends so did not bother with it on the larger tubes since there are just two pieces to make the kit not a big deal and the ends fit nice and tight which I like

he said 28 inch on this page
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...+whoopie+hooks

on his site he said 35 inch
    http://www.dutchwaregear.com/double-...ooks-pair.html

also here he mentions the disstance in post #8 find what length works
figure start at 34 and can cut down
    https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...+whoopie+hooks

so just figured its a rough idea and went with the two 17 to make a bit over 34 with the ends in place no cutting messing about
since the .625 were 18 inch and thought maybe the 36 inch total was a tad to long and while I have pipe cutters make life easy
for us its to keep our kids close my 6 year old likes being next to mom and also if we run out of trees and tie off to the roof rack etc.....
