It's great to hear from you Sgt Rock and your videos are always inspiring! Like you, for many of us, the quest is half the fun!
I'm in the process of changing my suspension for the umpteenth time, lol.

You got me into a dyneema suspension and now that mule tape looks like the way to go.

You taught me how build a cuben tarp. I have two now that are absolutely great.

Thanks for all your great work and for making the videos.

Sgt. Rock, thanks for the update. I remember when you first talked about this challenge. You have met the challenge with innovation and imagination, but you have gone beyond that and proved it to be durable as well. There is at least a little surprise in the fact that it has held up this long. It definitely makes me want to look at imitating your system--simplicity, light weight, functional, and durable--what more could one ask for? You are definitely pushing the envelope. Well done, Sgt.!

Watched it again, Sgt. Rock. Really like the mule-tape suspension with the slippery sheet bend, but how does this set-up handle heavy rains? Do you have something else that acts as a water-break or does the tail off the knot do that for you?

Is the spectra fishing line slick like amsteel?

How does the weight of the mule take compare to the Kevlar straps Dutch sells?

I've been wanting to try a pole mod, I'll have to go find some of this tubing.

Sweet UL setup you got there!

I have a couple questions about your hammock if you don't mind. First, I am wondering what is the approximate shape and dimensions of the footbox curtain. And second, how did you make the opening where the cord comes out of the hem on the footbox side? It looks like you have some sort of reinforcement there. Thanks.
