As I said, picture a large sawhorse...it has braces on both top corners, and that keeps it from collapsing. Modest guylines would accomplish the same thing, and in fact, could run to one central peg (if it would stay in the ground).

After this weekend hanging over swampy waters and the best places to hang the trees were to far apart, I've got to build something.
a hanging kit consisting of two 10' pieces of 4.5 mm accessory rope that is pre-knotted and has S-hooks for easy hanging.
