Looking to replace my Clark. Referred here for advice. (Thanks Zeke.)

My Clark Jungle Hammock is the only thing keeping me from downsizing my back to 30 liters. Problem is, I have tried other hammocks and felt like I was going to fall out every time I moved. Can anyone recommend a comparable hammock at about half the volume/ weight?

    Thanks in advance

I've been a Clarks user for years and have a few different models.
Along the way, I've tried several other makers. WBBB, etc. I hated it.
None ever quite matched up to the Clarks, until now.
Just got the Dream "Thunderbird" this year and it's the most comfortable lay ever.

You can get more minimalist, low volume versions such as the "Freebird."
But I can remove the bug net or storm cover completely and end up with quite a small, low volume bundle in the stuff sack.

I have a WBBB currently and I'm not impressed with it. This is the first time I followed the crowd and I'm paying for it...literally. I'm considering getting a hammeck or dream the next time I see one for sale here. Then I'll put the WBBB up for sale.

I used my Clark for years and really liked it. I switched to a BIAS weight weenie micro and a Fronkey bug net and haven't gone back to the Clark.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

I had the same problem. Love the lay of my Clark but want to go lighter & smaller. After trying out a Dream hammock at the smoked butt hang , I definitely want one. I like my Dutch but it almost feels to open.
