    Got a sticky keyboard? haha

I bought mine off of ebay, actually. Lots of different sizes and grades on there, some new and some used, but all had good descriptions.

I worked on construction sites where we used it and I always saved it after. I also would get it from the dumpster. Needless to say I have several pieces in my bags and truck.

What is Muletape best used for, and in what sizes? I am looking for some alternatives for the Scouts that might be budget friendly.

Quick google tells me it is a disposable fish tape for pulling wire in conduit.Probably pretty strong.

Mule tape (which is now available via dutchwaregear.com/ in various length) can be used for a variety of ways depending on it's width. Wider it is, the stronger it is. I have used it for ridgelines on tarps among other things. But, unless you have it in 1" wide or greater, please don't use it as straps for trees as it can do unseen damage to the tree.

I carry a couple of hanks in my car/truck for emergency use and even sewed one up for a dog leash. Good stuff.

I saw that, I was trying to get a better understanding of where people are using them with their hammocks...ridgelines, suspension, etc. I haven't tried to tie knots in it so I don't know how it is to work with.
