Cleared the schedule at work, and placed it on the calender!! This will be my first winter hang, so hopefully I'll have my gear true tested.
I am pumped for this already!!!
Let me know what I can bring, eats and drinks wise!!

I will not be able to make this however I would suggest everyone who can go, to go ahead and get to this one. You get to drive right to the place you hang so you can bring plenty of warmth. The food was great last year. I also suggest bringing sturdy stakes and a large hammer.

I'm gonna try and at least make the stop in on saturday and then take a few days and move on to virginia and see my pops. Venison tenderloin?? hell yeah...
This will be my first event - I second this questionLet me know what I can bring, eats and drinks wise!!
I still need to sit down and see what we are planning for the feast this year. I have venison in my freezer, as does my buddy. I figure we will start figuring out the details mid-December.
I will have some Birch Beer Mead (10.76%ABV) with me this year. I flavored it yesterday when I got home from the hang.

Hmm perhaps I will bring some homebrew whitbeer or maybe some grappa... I generally don't mix alcohol and the outdoors though... well, not since I was much younger at least.I will have some Birch Beer Mead (10.76%ABV)
Chances are I won't be able to make it. Not like to have a car if I have the time or the money to get there.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
