I was planning on picking up a 3 or 4 dozen dinner or kaiser rolls from a local bakery (Del Buono's Bakery) I can increase the volume if other are going to need them for their dishes. Shoot me a PM if you need a good source on rolls.

Ooohh Im getting so excited and hungry reading about all your guys great meals. Get wait to get out in the woods. So ???, I ordered a Burrow from stormcrow but their is a possibility that I will not get it in time for the Hang. I got my Winter Ptarmigan UQ so im good on that but I was wondering about top insulation. Would it work if I just brought a wool blanket, fleece blanket, big comforter etc. Or will I end up freezing. Would somebody have an xtra TQ by any chance if i dont get my burrow in time. With out a TQ what is the best way to stay warm.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

No sleeping bags? I'll be using either an EMS Boreal 0 bag or a Browning Kenai -30 bag along with my DD underblanket (depending on the forecast). Whatever you decide to try, may I suggest giving it a whirl in the backyard if you can? This way if you start to freeze you can just get up and go inside...

sadly (because I missed out on so many good years of camping in the winter) but excitingly (because I got so many good years of camping ahead of me) enough I am a late starter on winter camping and this will actually be my first winter trip of any kind. So the only bag I have is a Lafuma 40, and some other summer bags from like target (the ones with the soft fleece stuff inside). I guess I could bring two of them and put one inside the other? So no I dont really have any sufficient bag for camping in the cold with. I also live in an apt. complex and dont have a place to test hang over night. Ill keep my fingers crossed for my burrow.

EDIT: I just got a PM from Stormcrow and ill have my TQ before the hang. No need to borrow one, OOOHHH so xited.

    Livermush

Just got off the phone with customer service at Neese's Sausage and they are able to deliver to NJ as well as a lot of other places. Looking real good to have delivery in time for the hang.

    What's preferred for cooking Livermush?

That's awesome news... I would have been happy to offer the use of my spare zero bag, but the thing is huge and with 3 or possibly 4 people in my car, I expect it will already be packed!
