Ok so my plan is to borrow a hammock, I am bringing my -10 bag, my question is what is a DD underblanket?

I have two extra Hennessy Scouts available for use by anyone who might need a hammock. 5'10", 200# limit. A ground dwelling friend is joining us and he'll be using my extra Expedition.

You'll have to provide your own insulation.

    Let me know if interested.

If the weather is anything like this weekend, we will be only needing gear to get into the high 30's.

Just another word for Underquilt. You need either a closed-cell foam pad (or two) or an underquilt as the insulation in your sleeping bag between your body and hammock will be compressed under your weight.

    Iafte,

I am bringing down 7 rolls of TP and I have 4 rolls of paper towels. I am also going to bring down some heavy duty paper towels as well. Let me know if I should be bringing more.

I know some of you like those sub zero temps but high 30's is fine by me.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Oh I almost forgot, I'll bring Iafte's pee bottle (left at the fall MAHHA hang)
I've put it to good use. ;-)
    Oh-No,

One of my buddies just let me know he made, hehe, 3 gallons of chili for the campout. Pepperoni bread would be great.

I will be bringing utensils but you never know. I think I got some here that I can bring as well.

    Everyone:

We might pick some stuff for lunch on Sat if we are going to have alot of food.

No, the 30's is not fine by you LRR. How are you going to get a good test on those quilts without some decent weather!

LMAO Stormcrow, I know, I dont really wish for the 30's and know your quilts will keep me warm well below that but for my first winter hang well im kinda just hopeing to ease into it. How bout 30 on Friday 25 on Saturday night . Although I am prepairing for the coldest temps and bringing xtra insulation, cloths and winter gear. Is some one going to bring a thermometer so we know how cold it got at night time?
