Wow, what a great time. Saw old friends, met new ones,
ate great food, & tested new setups.
The Sat. 6K round trip hike to the fire-tower turned out to be
6+ miles, but was a good time just the same. Who would have
guessed that a local pastime is to carry your computer to the top of the
    fire-tower and toss it?
The late night campfire stories were a highlight.
The only negative was that the Jersey Devil ignored us.
I can't wait until next years trip.

Learned a few things this trip, I am not a fan of getting into a hammock from the bottom. I am also not a fan of the Hennessy Scout as a 5'10" 192lbs Scottish Pirate cannot fit in one with winter gear inside of it, I ended up tenting this one with my cabelas' xpg tent. Learned a few new foods that I like. Many new friends were found on this trip, many old friendships were re-kindled.All in all it was a good time, the snow made it perfect.

I have a question to all that went to this or will attend next year. I will be bringing a meal to cook next year for our full outdoor kitchen, would people rather I bring a Italian Dish, a Scottish Dish (Haggis) or a Spicy Indian Dish like Chicken Muckney? I am not sure how to post a poll but feel free to respond here or pm me. Cannot wait till next year!!

I just put it in my calender, count me in. And even though I enjoyed bakeing brownies, Im gonna get a bit more creative next year. Brisket with baby potatos. And like I said, My GF is already tring to steal my Burrow to use in bed and on the couch as a blanket I gotta put my foot down on that one, I can see it now hot choclate all over my nice war quilt.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Ahhh, another winter camp gone, I am sad, Counting the days til next years campout. Next year I will make sure I have plenty of propane for the grill. Oh and I still have 15lbs of hot sausage here at the house, rubbed off the exp date so it should last til next year.... that works right? no expiration date means it will last forever? Haha j/k. I'll have that gone by April.
I would like to thank all who attended making the turn out double from last year.
My brother, Iafte, wants to put me out there a week ahead of time to make a full kitchen and dining area... I think I'd rather make a living room with a fireplace and a 42" tv with surround sound for some good old funny movies to watch, now that's camping. lol
