    VIDEO: LongTrail - Part 4

Hitting the trail early on day 7 after a stormy, fishy night at Greenwall shelter brings me to many a vista and waterfall as I work my way to breakfast at Minerva Hinchey shelter. From there I meet up with Whiz Kid and Lozone for lunch at Clarendon shelter. A thought of marching on with them to Cooper Lodge crosses my mind but instead I stay at Gov. Clement shelter. Here is where I meet TAT and Supermarket. Another early morning (old man hiking) gets us to the top of Killington early enough to be able to spend 3 perfect hours before working my way down and out to US4 where I FINALLY get to have my gin at the Inn!

Thanks to everyone that has followed along, left comments and shared in my 8 day journey. I especially want to thank Isa, Amber, Whiz Kid, Lozone, Supermarket and TAT, you all became my trail family. Thank you.

I was going to watch a movie tonight. Instead, I watched your parts 3 & 4. Truly great! I enjoy how you let us see the scenery and how you take time to enjoy your surroundings. Thanks so much for bringing us along. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.

Rob....another great video. I look forward to the next parts of the LT series you have going.

I went on a great hike today with my two kids. My daughter and son, and brought my newest member of the family also my trail pup. We hiked a state park about 40 min away, and I am ashamed I've lived in this area and never hiked this park. We didn't do the entire thing today due to the rain we have had lately. But we all agreed we will be back.

So I thought I'd let you know your video series is inspiring. Happy Father's Day buddy!!

Very nice words to see, thank you. I try and squeeze as much enjoyment out of my limited time on the trail as I can. I will be working nights on part 5 that I just hiked this weekend.

Looked like a lot of fun, and work. I'm going on a solo AT trip next week that will take me into VT to Seth Warner shelter for a night, so I'll see a few miles of the LT. I hope I meet some cool folks like that. First solo ever for me. You make it look easy, but I'm sure I'll be nervous a lot.
