Ohio summer hang? (In the correct region)

Reposting form my mistaken SE thread.
Lets start planning a hang or two for this summer. I know the Ohio hangs have been lacking and are disrupted due to our consistently inconsistent weather, but we need to stop the excuses.

Mohican is always a standard, but hoping for something a bit different. Anyone up for Zaleski, Wildcat, or something anything else. Anyone have a wooded bit of land we can hang on. I'm open for something we haven't done.

I'm located in the middle of the state, so I'm good where ever we decide. Zaleski is fine, never did Wildcat and am looking at Archer's Fork for a solo, but I'm open to others input.

I would like to retry AF sometime in good weather. Here is a review of the last time.

To be fair I had friends do the same trip the week before this one and they had great dry weather and loved it. I will just say this should be done with a light load and if it looks too wet I would change my plans.

Anyone up for Zaleski in July? I'm thinking 17,18,19 it's after the 4th rush and far enough out to make plans.

I think I can make that. I'll have to run it by the bosses!

    HP that's a start.
    2 options.
1 Friday meet at H stay for Saturday. This gives people the option for a day hike of the loop or down to D then C and back the cut off trail
    2. Actual backpacking. Quick hike into C then Saturday to H either via D or the cut off trail. If you have the energy hike the loop or do it Sunday. Sunday quick hike down to the cars and home.

2 works if there are fewer people on Friday. This also give people coming in early on Saturday the option to hike with the group to H.

I will be working a full day on Friday so won't get down there until about 7. Even with light until 930 I would like a quick hike on Friday.

I'd lean towards option 2, but whatever is good for the group is good for me! For those not familiar with Zaleski, here is trail brochure.

Hi all, definitely interested in getting together. My schedule can be erratic and last-minute so I can't help set a date. However, I am watching with great interest and hoping I can meet up with you all.

Ok, I'm good! I can lave pretty much anytime Friday. If anyone is interested a ride from Columbus, let me know. Not a lot of room in the Wrangler (I removed the rear seat!), but room for two and a couple of packs.
