So that would be roughly 14*F? Is that right? With all that you mentioned inside the hammock with you ( - 6" loft on top and on the bottom? - 12" total?), you should be over heating! Really, a Stealth on top inside the Pod plus warm clothing should be at least equal to what I used at 11*F and I was plenty warm. But Ed Speer- who calls himself a very cold sleeper- would probably call that good to 20*F on TOP. But that is not counting your down jacket. I'm thinking that with the down hammock you will will easily be good to 14*F, and maybe a lot lower. All I added was a space blanket and was OK below @11*F, but I don't think I could have gone much lower. Plus, I was out of the wind and dry and well fed.
You might want to wear the down filled jacket backwards with it open. That way you'll have more bulk on top without compressing the down under you. I'm just sayin....
On Friday, I will embark on a 9 day test of my new Peapod. I should see nighttime temps ranging from below freezing to high 40's. I'll let you know how it goes!
