Hahaha I don't think a problem will arise. I was looking for an alternative to the "dutched out" CRL and a figure 9 and mini biner seems to serve the purpose of a wasp and dutch hook for cheaper.

I use the small aluminum figure 9 on tarp ridge line with the nite ize reflective cord. Works flawless.

I looked locally and finally found those small aluminum Figure 9's in stock. Grainger's carries them for less than $2.00 apiece and we have an outlet in town.

I am going to rig up the tarp hanging under the ridgeline with small stainless steel S-biners on prussick or distel hitches, Zing-it and a small Figure 9. Should be light and easy to set up, tighten, center and stake out.

The smaller Figure 9 carabiners work well with braided mason's line, which can be found at your local hardware store. I use a cheap mini-biner, some mason line, and a figure 9 for my ridgeline setups. One day I'd like to build my own with some Dutch bling.
