Specs on the New River UQ

I'm trying to fill out my Obsessive Compulsive Quilt Compare spread sheet and I need the specs for the New River Quilt. All help would be appreciated.

    Weight
    Loft
    Width - 50"
    Length - 76"
    Baffle Direction (Vertical or horizontal)
    Temp Rating
Construction (Sew through or baffle) - No Baffle

Would this be considered a 3 season quilt?

    Thanks for the input folks!

Actually I can give you a bit of info, But keep in mind that I am going to be working on lots as we get up to speed.

Down ---Synthetic, but I will probably add a down version as well, most likely 700 fill, at one price point and 900 at a bit more.

    Down Weight ---to be seen,

Construction (Sew through or baffle) --- for the synthetic version it will still be quilted, for the down sewn through with a possible future baffled design.

I will keep everyone posted as we get more info worked out.

Thanks Paul! The measurements I've seen show the Potomac about 20" at the ends and wider in the center (I forget the dimension) with a length of 88" if I recall correctly.

Then the New River is rectangular but is it 88" x the widest dimension on the Potomac?

I'm trying to work out the sq. inches of coverage.

John may be able to add better specifics on measurements, at least for the next few days, The brown truck is supposed to be here on Tuesday (he is usually very late in the day) and once I have the patterns out I can get exact measurements for you.

The New River measures approximately 50" wide and 76" long.

The Potomac is about 29" wide at the ends and 89" long.

Thumbs up Good luck on your new venture

Hey Paul ... good luck on your new venture. Wish you all the best.

As someone who JUST received an UQ from John a couple days ago ... you got some high standards to live up to.

Well made, well produced and well delivered!

It was wider at the head end, a bit narrower at the foot. To complicate matters Patrick made the quilt in two sizes. At 5'8" the "small" fit me great. I think a 2/3 UQ is the way to go with the KAQ, a hennessy slit/velcro would be ideal for those users.

That is for the regular. The long is 6" longer. I believe those measurements are the cutting measurements for the fabric and will be slightly smaller when turned right side out.
