Yea, it cost me $30 in total, but the snaps will be here Tuesday, my buddy is gonna toss me $5 to cover the snaps for the repair, and now if I ever have a problem with either of my Burrows (or his again) It's a couple of taps of the hammer to fix. I'm also quickly realizing that the snaps should be the same size as the ones on my Maxpedition gear, so now I can not only service my quilts, but my EDC packs as well.

I love Adam and Jenny's work but I like having the ability to service my own gear, I don't like the idea of "oh it broke, send it back" I'm more of the mindset of "Oh it broke.. give me a minute (sew sew sew, or tap tap tap) all better"!

I never said, "Don't fix it." I said, "I would go by my experience and let some one else do it." My experience has shown me it ain't a few taps of the hammer. Hopefully for you it will be. 50 years of messing around tells me I will be better pleased. YMMV. In fact I hope it does.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I have to second Ramblinrev, I refuse to waste my time with snaps, I have been unhappy with the results too many times. At one point in my life I made Custom Fit Western Shirts, putting the snaps on was always a challenge and the weak point of a item.

Maybe the process of applying snaps has improved or maybe, I always did something wrong. I hope your efforts go well for you.

I'll let you guys know how it goes when everything gets here. I have some scrap fabric and 1/2" Grosgrain to practice on before trying the actual quilt repair.

Eek, 30 dollars? I just last week ordered the kam snap tools and 100 snaps on eBay for 16. All genuine kamsnap brand and it works great.
