Many thanks to Shug Emery for leading me to hammocks and to this forum through his YouTube videos. Tired of sleeping on the ground I knew there had to be a better way to get a good nights sleep in the woods. I just finished making my first whoopee slings tonight and looking to come up with some tree straps so I can so I can see the Black Hills from a different angle on an up coming vacation. I am looking to take up backpacking as well just so I have another excuse to get away to the great outdoors. I love to hunt, fish, cook over an open fire, watch sunsets and the stars with my kids.
