The granite rubs their poor paws raw. They were barely able to hobble out even WITH the booties.

I don't think they moved from this position until we left. They wouldn't even move for food or water - which is why we brought it to them.
Poor pups, luckily you had some booties to be able to put on them when you did. I wish I could bring my dogs, but Boston Terriers aren't the greatest hiking dogs, and sitting still in a hammock wouldn't exactly be their forte, haha
I live in Petaluma, CA. So I could do the occasional group hang further north (ie Mendocino Co.) or east (ie Yosemite, Tahoe).

Went over to Shealor Lakes and hiked down for the evening. It is beautiful down there, but the fire that was apparently pretty close did put a damper on my pictures, haha.
I am in Pittsburg also. We should get an Eastbay hang setup soon!

I live in San Francisco, but I mostly do my trips in the South Bay, near Santa Cruz. I am up in Sacramento occasionally though...
I usually hang at Henry Coe SP near San Jose or in the Pescadero area near Halfmoon Bay. Always wanted to check out near Santa Cruz though.
