First time in 3 years to camp legally while on kayak trip :)

Here is our system. We did not have to leave the flood plain to go into the woods to hang 0717150720b.jpg

First time in 3 years thanks to watching this video

Additional pics of the supports and anchoring. Some may be very difficult to see the system on the ground. The cross beam/stick you see has nothing to do with the suport system, it was just used to hang one tarp, which is usually how we hang.

My son is skinny; but I'm a bigger gal. For my portion, my anchor triangle line was much larger, with more loops to drive spikes in. Because we were on a river rock mixed sand area, after the pictures were taken, I then drove the spikes deep into the ground and then burried them.

I know people travel from miles around to see the giant basket, but quite honestly most of us, me included find it to be a complete eye sore. It's agrivating to come out of the trees to see the handles of the basket at the top; as hopefully seen in these pictures

    Then it becomes more....

Then it just gets worse and bigger........no more pictures taken. My apologies to those who love this. To each their own.

Good job! I would have felt better with a big rock on the stakes, just in case. Doggies are cuties.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
