EARLY!!!!!!!!..............Good times. Man,biggest sea of tarps in the piney woods I've ever seen. RF would have been proud. Somebody said they wouldn't be surprised to see a redheaded guy sitting by the fire at 4am. Shutterbug & I stopped and took a Brewery tour and ate lunch a Sierra Nevada in Mills River on way out. Everyone should go there! I spent Sun night out in South Mt SP. Just got home and it's HOT .Looking forward to looking at photos & video that has been posted.Remember never be late be..................

Another wonderful hang in the beloved Enchanted Forest below John Rock. The Details and I had a wonderful time. None of them wanted to leave, nor did I. Thanks to HB, Loki, and CB for keeping the hang going. Somewhere, I'm sure Running Feather is smiling, pleased with all the good times we had this year. Thanks also to FIMB, Hotlips, and Kingsford for some awesome food. Thanks to everyone who came. It's always the people that make these hangs so special.

Sandman, thanks for the pics and time lapse. I'm glad the "Delectable Decay Restaurant" dishes were captured in pixels. For those who weren't there, my kids D1, D2, and D3, along with a new friend, spent quite a lot time crafting various "dishes" from found items in the forest. This woodland art was indeed beautiful. On the last morning they arranged their art alongside the trail so hikers could see it after we left.

Here's a few more pics to supplement the weekend. https://goo.gl/photos/JoEbvoXNU1hQd5bU8

It was a pleasure to spend time with friends old and new. Looking forward to Hot Springs.

I'd like to propose two things to purveyors of this hang. First, lets call it Running Feather's John Rock Hang. That just seems right to me. Second, lets make a hike to parking lot to go to the Sierra Nevada Brewery an official trip on the sign up sheet. That seems right too.

Changing the name for the future ones has been discussed.

The spread sheet is more of guidelines but funny you should mention the brewery. Michelle and I were talking about it last night

Great meeting you last weekend! Hoe we can do it again soon

    Earlyyyyyyyy.....lol.

That is not the word I will use to describe my arrival time getting there and back home....lol

Orlando to John's rock 10+/- hrs.

    On my way....

I stop into The Hub as Loki requested. Awesome store. Hardcore riders. Great atmosphere! I continue on.....

I pull into the parking lot for the hang and say to myself "What the hell have I got myself into"!!! I stretch after that drive and unpack. I pull out my sluggie "i might be wrong with the name" picture directions. I start the hike and on entering I noticed the PINK tape HB tagged for the correct route for us new hanggers. Thank HB! It was easy to find!
I walk out of the woods into....

MoonBear those are some real nice photos.

You know how to write-up a trip report too! Thanks! I enjoyed reading that.

Seems we should offer some recognition for the HF member who traveled the furthest distance... food for thoughts next year.

Enjoyed meeting you and chatting too (and eating some of that delicious fruit you shared with us). Looking forward to next year, however, just give us a heads-up if you need some piney mountain views before then
