    Peace be with you, Shug.
I would be lying if i said i didn't feel a little sad when i take a 12 year old car to the wrecker or dispose of a long serving piece of furniture. Funny how that is.

I'm sorry the hammock is off to greener pastures after much good use, but perhaps it is a better fate than being lost in the back of a gear closet and sitting unused.

edit: reminds me of this commercial

Rest in Piece ... err ... Pieces o'mighty Green Bean, protector of Shugrow, filter of odd odors and provider of some of the finest breakfast spots along the trail ... LONG LIVE THE BEAN!

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

It could but I would always be wary and not sleep as soundly. Ol' GB will now be made into black bishop bags.

Then a regimen of spam jelly and spam tartar and you will be ready to get to work on gen2.

Be well in sector 7. Live long and prosper.

2009..to what I am led to believe is now 2016......shucks, I have destroyed them on the first hang before.

Hope that knee is feeling a bit better, I see you are still wearing some kind of chastity belt on it. Or at your age is that called a truss?
I got some bone on bone in my knee so bracing helps...along with other therapies. On the road doing 3 shows a day is tough on it but use a tens unit at night along with a lot of stretching and strengthning.

I loved that commercial. Remnants of GreenBean will still travel with me in the form of a new Black Bishop bag.

Death Notice for Green Bean the hammock

Born 2007 Died 2015 as the results of an accident while filming a how to movie

Green Bean has been a supporting member of Shug's videos and has been featured in many videos

Fortunately Green Bean had a donor card and is expected to live on in the form of a Bishop stuff sack.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Shug....maybe a video of emergency trail repair would be good. I can only imagine being on one of your extended trips only to have that happen. I wouldn't know where to start. That is if you haven't dissected GB for the black bishop bags yet!

I would have just gone to ground if it ripped all the way through. It will be a test bed to see what I can do in it before it rips all the way through. Then black bishop bags.
Not sure I could field repair it. Would GTG...go to ground. Egads.
