Nest and my Hennessy

Sounds like everyone just raves about the nest UQ.

I have the HHULBB and right now just have the stock tarp and a driducks weathershield.

I like that the nest has the slit opening, I don't mind the slit opening don't ever see my self changing it.


My only thought with the nest is keeping it dry. and also i was wondering if the down settles to the lowest point when on the hammock?

It can settle a bit but that is usually a good thing, cause it tends to settle underneath your body. When you lay on a diagonal, sometimes you might get a cold spot under your left shoulder if the down has shifted a lot to the other side. Just get out and fluff it a bit. I shortened my Nest to 60in by removing the last two foot end baffles. I used that down to overstuff the baffle compartments above the slit, no more shifting.
