    I have some wire for hanging pictures that works well for Amsteel 7/64, and I use a single strand of Cat 5 cable for Zing-It. It's been working for me.

    i just spliced a full 180' roll of 1.75mm lash it into RL's for an upcoming scout project.. here's a pic of the loop turner inside 1.75 It takes patience, but it's very doable

    Maybe that's why the Michael's lady looked at me so funny. She asked me "what are you doing with it?" I said, "I'm splicing loops in Amsteel rope". She got a strange look on her face, maybe she was relieved I wasn't making spaghetti straps, or maybe she was into the "50 shades" stuff and was excited, I don't know. But they didn't have one.

    I find Michael's typically doesn't stock them.. Joann's does.. and at least in the few closest stores they're usually right in with the other sewing stuff
