I did watch the video... it's not the same kind of setup as the Strap Anchors. The Adutchables go up by the tree, and because of that, it seems like they would not be as easy to adjust -- unless you put them down by the hammock as with the Strap Anchors, and I'm not sure they'd work like that, at least not as securely.
Maybe someone has done it?
Yes, you can feed the end of the Kevlar through the loop at the other end. That gets along with a 15' strap though, so I use sewn on Dutch clips. I have tested the Kevlar straps with Adutchable clips on a very limited basis and they seemed to work.
Well, as usual, once I started thinking about all this I couldn't stop, so I pulled the trigger on Kevlar straps from Dutch and Strap Anchors from BIAS. My newly finished bugnet (made out of old curtains) has another rip, so I decided to get Nano-seeum (or whatever it's called) from Dutch -- thus an order was necessary. It's a slippery slope...
I try to minimize weight and bulk, so it's Dynaglide Whoopies and Kevlar tree strap connected with a Marlin spike. Sometimes I use titanium Dutch clips, sometimes ADutchable clip and sometimes just thread the end through the loop.

Becoming a big fan of the becket hitch connected to the loops on the end of the hammock. No extra gear needed.
Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same
Was looking at that becket hitch thread...interesting. Thinking it's probably a good idea to learn this knot and try it, to have another option just in case.
Butt in a Sling already shipped my Strap Anchors this morning! On their site I had seen a caution about not shipping for a few weeks. Classic case of under-promise, over-deliver. And I know Dutch will be fast.
I love the ease of the cinch buckles, and longer straps. EVERYTHING stays connected, no chance of leaving ;part of it on a tree or next to the pack. My WBBB came with them. I just upgraded my yukon v2 to them. I tried the whoopies...liked them ok. Went to the park to hang...one of my straps was at home. I KNEW Id do that! Takes me about 30 seconds to get off the ground.

Around 10 mins in you will see what I came up with. Note D ring not needed if the strap has a loop on one end. Also I found out a half hitch with a easy out works well to secure it with slippery type of nylon webbing.
I use a 5 foot tree strap with a loop in each end. I ditched the toggles and just put the fixed end of the whoopie through one loop, and pull the tree strap through the whooped loop so I have a square knot. Throw the tree strap around the tree, and pull the moving end of the whoopie through the other end of the strap. If the tree is skinny, sometimes I wrap the strap around the tree several times. I have short continuous loops on my hammock end that hooks to the whoopie via a dutchware whoopie hook.
When I made my whoopies I put the adjustable section VERY close to the fixed section so I can pull the whole thing through, leaving only about 18 inches from the tree strap to the whoopie hook. It helps when using trees that are closer together. I haven't had many hammock problems yet, but I have been a few places where the tarp is just a hair too long and winds up loose in the middle because it won't stretch out any more.
